Thank You!
I think of friends and family. I glimpse fragments of their sacrifice – those that have lost bits of themselves on the battlefield, those who have died for country, those that have laid all on the line. It is no small thing. Even living right in the middle of it, I cannot comprehend it all – the love of country, the bravery. The sacrifice that does not stop when feet land back on our soil. I cannot express my own thoughts any better than the “We are Americans” speech does.
We truly should never underestimate the determination and moral courage of a free people, nor should we forget the cost of that freedom.
To all of you who have served, I offer my deepest gratitude! Your sacrifice is no small thing. God Bless America!
